DESCRIPTION:
In April, the New Jersey Department of State took over elections supervision from the Department of Law and Public Safety. The Secretary of State, Nina Wells, is the State's chief election official and Robert Giles, is the director of the State Division of Elections. They have been working to address some issues that arose during the primaries. The result is guidelines implemented throughout the state for a uniform understanding of the process and the responsibilities involved with November’s general election.
