Re: League discount on grant service

Dear Mayor:

The League continues to expand its member benefits to New Jersey municipalities with a special discount from GrantStation.com.

The League has teamed up with GrantStation.com to offer member municipalities a web based grant search and information service at a discounted rate.  Members of the League may sign up at the discounted rate of $269 per year.  To sign up at this rate, you must complete and submit GrantStation's discount order form, available by contacting tsamhammer@njslom.com.  We will need to confirm your membership status before sending you the form.

The service includes access to a database of grants which is continually updated, a complete set of grant writing tools and resources to help you develop winning grant proposals and industry news and trainings relevant to grantseekers.

One tip you should remember when searching the thousands of available grants: eligibility is frequently noted as "non-profit organizations”. This includes local governments which are part of the “non-profit” category for most of the grant funders in the database. If municipalities are specifically excluded, the exclusion is noted in the detailed description of the grant.
