Make Plans to Cover Mayors’ State/Local Policy Briefing
24th Annual Mayors’ Legislative Day

The New Jersey State League of Municipalities will hold its 24th Annual Mayors’ Legislative Day on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Statehouse Annex in Committee Room 4 beginning at 9 a.m.
The program will be attended by over 100 Mayors and elected officials
from around the state who will hear from the Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno,
members of the Governor’s Cabinet- DCA Commissioner Charles Richman,
DEP Commissioner Bob Martin, BPU President Richard Mroz, and DOT Acting
Commissioner Richard Hammer on their policy priorities for 2016 and
beyond. A Legislative Panel, facilitated by John Reitmeyer of NJ
Spotlight, will include Senate President Stephen Sweeney, Senate
Republic Leader Thomas Kean, Jr., Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto, and
Assembly Republican Leader Jon Bramnick, who will share their
legislative, budgetary and policy priorities for 2016 and beyond,
including the topics of: Property Tax Reform, funding of the
Transportation Trust Fund, Affordable Housing, Pension and Health
Benefits Reform, Utility Issues, and Shared Services.
