[ARCHIVED] Nominees Sought for Michael A. Pane Memorial Award

Nominations are requested by Sept. 15 for the 16th Annual Michael A. Pane Memorial Award, honoring a local government attorney, engineer, or planner who exemplifies the highest standards of ethics. Award presented at the League Conference.

Nominations are requested by Sept. 15 for the Institute of Local Government Attorneys' 16th Annual Michael A. Pane Memorial Award, honoring a local government attorney, engineer, or planner who exemplifies the highest standards of ethics and whose work has significantly enhanced the integrity of local government. 


The award will be announced at the Institute of Local Government Attorneys' annual social event (time and place will be sent to selected honoree) following the NJ Institute of Local Government Attorneys programs during the NJLM Annual Conference in Atlantic City, Nov. 15.


Nominations should include the reason for your nomination and a biography of the nominee. Download the application and mail, fax, or email your nomination to:

After receiving the award, the honoree will provide an essay of 500 words or less on the subject of ethics in government. This essay will be published in an issue of NJ Municipalities Magazine. Upon receipt of the essay, the honorarium of $500 will be issued.
