On May 23, The New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC) released an updated version of the #StopRansomware Guide, jointly published by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National Security Agency (NSA), and the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAC). The guide has been revised to address the evolving tactics and techniques employed by ransomware actors since its initial release in 2020.
In recent years, the threat of ransomware attacks has become more pervasive, necessitating stronger cybersecurity measures. The updated #StopRansomware Guide is an invaluable resource that incorporates lessons learned from the past two years and provides additional recommended actions, resources, and tools to enhance its relevancy and effectiveness.
