The partial shutdown of the federal budget has entered its third week. Earlier this week, for the 11th time, the Senate failed to advance the House-passed short-term continuing resolution.
Last week, Governor Murphy’s administration noted that it may affect Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) beneficiaries in the near future.
In addition, President Trump publicly announced that the Gateway Project funding had been canceled, but work appears to be ongoing.
As we reported last week, military members are receiving paychecks.
