2026 is the 250th anniversary of the USA! This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity that allows New Jerseyans to create a lasting legacy. Revolution NJ is calling on all municipalities to pass a resolution to officially become a RevolutionNJ community.

League Hometown Security Task Force Hosts Tour
The New Jersey League of Municipalities’ Hometown Security Task Force has been rescheduled and will meet for the first time since the start of the pandemic for an update on issues and concerns impacting member municipalities.
The Task Force is chaired by Hope Mayor Tim McDonough, Past President of the League and is open to Task Force members and interested New Jersey Mayors. The meeting will be hosted by AT&T at its network disaster recovery facility in Burlington County and include a public safety forum featuring FirstNet.

Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Location: Address will be provided after registration.
The event will include guest speakers from AT&T on FirstNet, two representatives from the New Jersey State Police on current priorities and policies, an update from the NJ Office of Homeland Security, a provided working lunch, a tour of the facility, and more.

PERC Sets 2023 Public Employment Conference
The New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC) is presenting the 2023 Public Employment Conference on Thursday, May 4, 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hilton in East Brunswick. Presented in cooperation with PERC, and the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA) Labor and Employment Law Section, the event gathers attorneys, arbitrators, union members, government officials, and public employees in-person after meeting virtually for the last couple of years.
Attendees will hear presentations about many of today's cutting-edge issues, including timely discussions about ongoing pandemic-related challenges and may be able to earn up to 6.9 CLE credits. Registration is priced at $199 for NJSBA members and $235 for general tuition.
