On Thursday, legislation overhauling the state’s affordable housing policy was reported favorably out of the Assembly Appropriations Committee with committee amendments. A-4 is now scheduled to be voted on in the full Assembly on Monday, February 12.

Affordable Connectivity Program Funds Nearly Exhausted   

Without congressional action, the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provides a monthly $30 discount on home broadband services, will exhaust its funding in April.

Application for Assistance to Firefighters Grants Program Open

Fiscal Year 2023 Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) Program is open through March 8 at 5:00 p.m. AFG funds needed resources to equip and train emergency personnel, enhance efficiencies, and support community resilience.
