LRC Proposes Project to Review Private Right of Action Under CTA 

On April 18 the NJ Law Review Commission (LRC) will meet to consider reviewing whether the Cable Television Act (CTA) would benefit from changes to clarify if a private right of action exists for municipalities to enforce cable franchise fees.

New Jersey Primary Election Ballot Design Change

EPA Announces Final PFAS Drinking Water Rules

On Wednesday, April 10, the EPA announced final rules setting nationwide standards for the monitoring and removal of PFAS in drinking water, along with an additional $1 billion in available funding for implementation.

Changes to Notice of Funding Opportunities & Increase in Single Audit Threshold

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) announced that federal agencies should communicate Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFO) in plain language and that the Single Audit Threshold is raised from $750,000 to $1 million per fiscal year.
