“Big, Beautiful Bill” Clears House, Increases SALT Cap Deduction 

Last week, the House of Representatives passed the “Big, Beautiful Bill,” which includes a SALT cap deduction increase to $40,000 for taxpayers earning up to $500,000 per year.

Lend Your Support for Full Funding of Community Development Block Grants  

The League’s federal partner, NLC, along with the National Association of Counties and the US Conference of Mayors, are working together on a sign-on letter for local elected officials to urge full funding for CDBG and HOME in FY2026.
