This grant is designed to prepare participants for Registered Apprenticeship programs and long-term employment and highlights services that ensure successful placement and retention. Funding will support a wide range of construction-related occupations, including clean energy and lead abatement roles, and must include support services to increase employment opportunities.
Municipalities, vocational schools, nonprofits, and trade associations are eligible to apply as the lead applicant and encouraged to apply before the due date. Letters of Intent are due by noon on October 10, with full applications required by noon on October 17. For more details, please visit the NJDOL grant page or email NJBuildPrograms@dol.nj.gov.
