FY25 Justice and Mental Health Collaboration Program - Supports collaborative programs that enhance public safety responses and outcomes for individuals with mental health disorders (MHDs) or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (MHSUDs). The primary goal is to improve the safety and well-being of adults with MHDs, such as traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder, or MHSUDs who interact with the criminal justice system.

FY25 Connect and Protect: Law Enforcement Behavioral Health Response Program - Supports collaborations between law enforcement and behavioral health agencies to enhance public safety responses and outcomes for individuals with behavioral health needs. The goal is to implement deflection and diversion programs at initial contact, such as crisis response and intervention teams, co-responders, and other collaborative model approaches. The program focuses on improving the safety and well-being of individuals with mental health disorders or co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
